Certified Trauma Providers
As a leading edge treatment centre for healing trauma and attachment wounds we regularly receive request to recommend therapists providing services in other areas / communities. We typically do not recommend someone unless we are familiar with their work and understanding of trauma. As a result, we have created a directory of members who have completed one of our certification streams or our core training. A summary of each of these streams is included below.

Certified Trauma Informed Organization (CTIO)
Becoming a Certified Trauma Informed Organization (CTIO) assures that organizations have taken steps to ensure comprehensive agency-wide training to implement a trauma and attachment integrative model. This demonstrates a commitment at an organizational level to prioritize a trauma-informed or trauma-specific service delivery. In order to become a CTIO organizations must have completed a comprehensive agency-wide process that includes:

- Pre-evaluation / readiness assessment
- Completion of custom core training and required supplementary training options
- Introduction of trauma-informed program philosophy to community collaboratives and board members
- Consultation to implement and maintain a trauma-informed approach
- Individual completion of exam to measure comprehension of trauma-informed concepts

Certified Trauma Integration Clinician (CTIC)
Certified Trauma Integration Clinicians (CTIC) are professionals who generally hold a graduate degree or higher in Social Work or Psychology that have completed our comprehensive clinical certification program. This certification program focuses on building skills that allow the therapist to provide trauma and attachment specific services. Our treatment approach is integrative and based upon leading edge and best practice treatments following trauma and / or attachment ruptures. Participants are required to complete a core 2-day training, supplementary trainings to reinforce their knowledge, monthly consultation for 1 year, and completion of an exam. This certification is meant to be a process that allows the therapist to continue to build upon their knowledge and skills in these areas. Certified Trauma Integration Practitioner (CTIP)
This training is open to anyone working in a helping profession or anyone with a desire to learn more about trauma and attachment. There are no pre-requisites for this training; information is presented at a practical and foundation building level. Individuals who have completed certification generally have an interest in creating a more trauma-informed community, workplace, and world. To be listed in this section confirms that members have completed the training requirements, four consultations and an exam.
Completion of Foundational 1-Day or 2-Day Training to become Trauma-Informed
This training is appropriate for anyone working in a helping profession or anyone with a desire to learn more about trauma and attachment. There are no pre-requisites for this training; information is presented at a practical and foundation building level. Individuals who have completed this training generally have an interest in creating a more trauma-informed community, organization, and world. Although participants listed here have completed core training with our organization they have not completed the additional comprehensive requirements to become certified as a CTIP or CTIC, or may be in the process of doing so.
