Creative Strategies for Engaging Youth and Healing Trauma
3-Hour Training Applies to certification – All certification levels $145 + HST This workshop will provide insight into the impact of trauma and attachment on adolescence. Workshop focus will include a variety of strategies for promoting safety and engaging at risk youth. Research, resources, and intervention strategies will be shared.
Through this training participants will gain an awareness of:
the impact of attachment and trauma on adolescence and self concept;
the sensory function of at risk behaviours;
experiential review of practical intervention strategies;
assessment, treatment formulation, and outcome measures for working with adolescents through a trauma informed lens.
This training is available under distance learning as a prerecorded training option.

Most training are held at ATTCH in St. Davids Ontario. Our location is minutes from the breathtaking Niagara Falls, the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the city of St. Catharines.
