This workshop provides insight into our most critical period of development. Covering concepts such as understanding the role of neuroscience, sensory engagement, attunement, and connection on the infant emotional and brain development. This workshop also reviews leading neurologically and relationally based strategies, parent-child programs, and therapies.
Through this training participants will gain an awareness of:
critical brain development and the impact of intrauterine insults and trauma within the first year
assessment activities
strategies to promote optimal growth, regulation, and development
activities and programs to develop and enhance parent-infant attachment relationships
