3-Hour Training Applies to certification – All certification levels $145 + HST This workshop will provide essential information regarding creating trauma-informed child welfare settings, practice, and support. The latest information regarding the neurological impact of various forms of abuse will be reviewed. Specialized topics such as understanding the impact intergenerational trauma has on parenting, trauma screening, trauma-informed removal, parenting capacity approaches, and suggested training for foster and adoptive parents will be included.
This training is scheduled for March 1, 2016 from 1:00 - 4:00. Trainings occur in St. Davids (Niagara-on-the-Lake). Our location is minutes from the breathtaking Niagara Falls, the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the city of St. Catharines.
