Lisa Devi Kirn Scandolari's approach to teaching is to use her experience, wisdom and positive upliftment in a safe and fun style to help people reach their goals and to empower themselves through Kundalini Yoga.
Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, is one of the most ancient and most powerful styles of yoga. It supports us to become physically and mentally strong by creating a strong nervous system and healthy glandular and immune system so that we may live a life full of radiance and abundance.
It is a technology and a science for all aspects of human living. Based on the realization that our true strength comes from within, Kundalini Yoga deepens and expands our awareness on all levels so that we may awaken our full potential and grace. It is a transformational practice using dynamic posture, breath, mantra, sound meditation and deep relaxation. A class leaves you with an overwhelming sense that you have nurtured your whole being and experienced something special. You do not need to be in perfect physical condition or share any particular belief system. Kundalini Yoga is for everyone.

Yoga for Stress and Trauma with Carol Prentice
Trauma-sensitive yoga is a way for us to safely experiment with being in our physical body, aware of the present moment and breath. Through yoga we can experiment with:
Breathing
Grounding
Moving
Strengthening
Stretching
Resting
Classes will be set up so that individuals are in control over what they are doing with their body at all times and the teacher is there to provide safe, professional guidance and to help individuals focus on particular aspects of the practice (what muscles they are using, what it feels like to have their feet on the ground and be present, what it feels like to breathe). Classes will be gentle and suitable for all.
New studies show that people suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder can find real relief with yoga, including a decrease in the frequency of intrusive thoughts and the severity of anxiety, while improving their ability to calm themselves. Trauma memory is stored in the physical body and yoga helps us to nurture and have a friendly relationship with our body.
